xp related extra drive

Will Xp detect a slaved drive that has been formatted using the boot98 disk(fat32) I want to add a extra drive for mp3's and games so If I switch mobo and os's my saved gaves and mp3's will not get erased. So can you slave a extra hdd to the xp format when the slaved drive was formatted using the 98 format? make any sense?

Yes, it will recognize the hard drive, providing you have added it into your auto detect in BIOS.

Makes no diff if it is FAT, FAT32, HPFS, or NTFS, XP will see it.
