O.K., So I am driving to Costco to buy some food and stuff ( and my 2 cases of mt.dew) when this car is like totally on my rear bumper, so I switch lanes and slow down to let the dude pass, well he slows down and gets right behind me.
I continued to drive at about 5 miles below the speed limit because it's raining and this guy continues to follow me.
I make the required turns to get into the costco parking lot and this freak is behind me, and I mean RIGHT behind me the entire time.
I always park in this one area that's never full, kinda away from the entrance. The guy CONTINUES to follow me!!!
I park my car and the dude stops his car right behind mine so that I am blockd in. As I step out of my car I grab my <a href="http://www.ips911store.com/products/batons.htm">ASP<a/> that I keep in my car door.
I get out and close my door, making sure to stay back from the dude about 4 feet. He is all pissed off and yelling at me saying that I cut him off and that I was f@$%ing with him driving so slow.
I calmly told him that I did not intentionaly cut him off if I did and that I switched lanes so he could pass me and that I was driving slow because it is raining.
He looked at my hand and said "What the hell is that? Do you think you are going to beat me or something?" ( I did not even have the batton extended yet)
To which I replied, "Sir, I just want to buy my Mt. Dew and go home"
He just looked at me for what felt like forever and then mumbled some more bad words as he got into his car and drove off.
I had to wait for a few while he drove off so I could park my car closer to the entance incase he was planing on coming back and messing with my car while i was in the store.
WTF is up with people around the holidays? I have noticed eratic driving from more and more people every day. Slow down, x-mass will come no matter how fast you go.
And yes I do know that an ASP is not something you should carry in your private vehicle but I would rather have it and possibly get in a little troube than to not have it and get in a lot of trouble if I need it. Just let me have my Dew Dammit !!!!

there are a lot of looped individuals in cars in the UK too, of course over here by and large, there is a lot less chance that the crazies could be carrying lethal weapons!

A friend at work was involved in a crash on Saturday night. They were travelling home from a nightout in a taxi and the car in front of them decides it's a good idea to do a hand-brake turn in the middle of the road and then crash head-on with them :( so she spent all of Saturday night/Sunday morning at the hospital and is now at home suffering with severe whiplash and she has no feeling in her right arm at the minute and can't use it. To top it off the *!"&(&£!* that hit them hasn't got insurance  The doctors have said the loss of feeling is a temporary thing and it will gradually come back over the next few weeks.

I just can't understand what makes people do such stupid things

What is Mountain Dew?!?!? It is sweet nectar of the gods. A tasty citrus pop with about the equivilent of 4 cups of coffee worth of caffiene in it.

This man obviously backed down when he realized he was messing with a Dew addict that was being kept from his fix. :D

I know what you mean about the Christmas holidays though. Stress levels reach all new heights as people focus more on getting the gifts and the cost of them than what the holiday is about. I try to do the following when out shopping to ease the pressure cooker:

1. Smile at everyone, not just the cute ladies.
2. Hold the door open for people.
3. Offer to help those overloaded with stuff, either to the counter
or their car.
4. Sing Christmas carols, perferably on key.
5. Hot chocolate or coffee for those poor blokes ringing the Salvation Army bells. Though with the weather the way its been
havent done much of this.
6. Dont fret over my place in line. My car isnt going anywhere without me and the store wont close until the last person is run up.

surgeon general, good job too you! very glad to see you were the better man. the guy was probably just having a horrible day! just try to remember this the next time someone cuts you off... i know i will try too, as i get quite the road rage occasionally. especially if i am driving my mom, sis or girlfriend around...

me and my buddy were driving around one time and were cut off by an old man... well we thought nothing of it, and cause he drove slow so we passed him... he did NOT like that and startd tailgating us. at the next light he intentionally hit the back of my friends car (no damage) and then he sped away. we called the police about it... turns out he had no license, suspended vehicle registration and a hidden hand gun under the seat! from now on if road rage strikes me... i dont do shiznit about it.
take a deep breath and count down cause the freak could have a gun!

Hey, but if you buy dew, make sure it is green...the red stuff tastes horrible and i would recommend you drinking a cold cup of your own urine before trying the red stuff! :)
