Thanks Laughing Clam Temps have dropped by 10degrees. If I understand this right the temps will still max at their normal levels underload it will just idle lower when under no load? Somebody on this forum should start a idle chart for the various chipsets to reference.

there are some proggies like CPU Cool which do the same thing, the idle temps on my duron went down by about 12 degress when i use the forced coling option in CPUCool
