Hello Guys,
O.K. Here is my problem. I recently lost al the data on my secondary hd. The format, fat32 is still present, and the folder labled "recycled" but nothing else, it looks just like it did when I first formated it.
Now my question is, how did I mess it up? I mean this is the first hd to ever fail on me and I don't know what it's suppose to look like. Is this a data loss as a result of some magnetic problem? or would that wipe the fat32 away as well?
I did move it form 1 bay 2 another, then next time I went to use it it was erased.
Did I bump it in movement? would that cause this problem?
I don't know what would cause all the data to just vanish. i need to run a read write test on it.
just woundering if anyone knew what would cause this.
