Your settings would depend on what chipset and mobo you're using. So we need this bit of info.
But, keep in mind, reducing or relaxing memory timings in order to acheive a higher fsb can often be counterproductive. Although higher fsb can usually be obtained by lowering memory timings, performance lost by relaxing the timings are frequently not made up for by the higher fsb.
For my own perosnal approach, I like to set the memory timings to maximum stable settings at spec fsb (133), maximizing memory bandwidth, then increasing fsb as stability allows. This tends to result in maximum memory bandwidth.
Also, another point. Sometimes some manual memory settings not only improve stability for overclocking, but also maintains or improves bandwidth. I am aware of, and use, settings such as these on the Abit KG7.
Hope this helps.

Hi,
Max setting always enable faster mem bandwidth. But lots people now crazy to use high FSB with very low setting which did not yield good result.
BTW, are you still running your XP1800+ @1920 with air cool? It still shows that result at leader board. I think if you can manage to run XP1800+ @1920 with air cool, the memory setting should be a piece cake for ya..

With my pesonal experiences higher fsb increases data rate "hence faster system" I did an experiment with my old 1.4ghz and found that 150x10.5 =1575 actuly gives me faster speeds with seti and a higher frame rate then 12.5x133=1662
I have a Soyo dragon and a peice of cr@p biostar...
Any ideas???

Hmmm....
Each type of mobo is design uniquely. You just have to try different setting and find out the best. Plus, Each CPU has different OCingbility and vary types of cooling. There is no one answer for all.... You have to figure out yourself. Usually I wont run FSB over 160 to 162 and use the highest setting I can to run stable within that limit.
PS. The max speed you can acheive isn't what speed boot into window. It is what speed you can run 24/7 without a lockup. My system can boot into window 1900+ but that dont mean anything if it can't even play a game or surf the web.... Got it?

NP:)
Sorry I do not mean anything. Usually I use to check out leader board and see what other people's setting to acheive certain speed and use it as references to overclock my system....
1800 for air cool is a good result... According to my calculation, if you had good water cool, I think you might hit 1900+... Just my thinking.... I can only go 1760 with air cool... (stock HSF from AMD)...
Try water? I can sell all my water parts to you for a super cheap deal.... I am going Vapochill so.... How is everything I had... MAZE2 water block with 156w pelt and cold plate (copper from DD) and Northbridge waterblcok. 3 radiators with 2 X 120MM fans, 2 X 80mm fans, MAG 700 pump, water tank, and hose with all the barbs and hose clamps for $200??
Check with the link under to see all my water parts.
