View Full Version : James' final tour
2nd December 2001, 12:40 PM
Starts tonight at Brighton Pavilion. They are only doing a few gigs, most of them in big arenas. (wembley, NEC, Met centre) After this tour lead singer and main songwriter Tim Booth is leaving to persue other interests after 20 years with the band. I am lucky enough to have tickets for the first gig of the tour tonight, and their final one at Wembley arena on the 11th December.
I am gutted that this will be the last time I will be able to see one of my favourite bands live. :(:(:(:(

AsI said in my first posting, the lead singer, Tim Booth wants to do other things. I actually heard at the concert he wishes to open a dance studio of all things!! The rest of the band intend to carry on, but there are very, very few bands that do not change radicaly, usually for the worse, when they lose the lead singer and main sogwriter. :(

and isnt it strange for him to leave now that they released a great album?
