For some reason, when loading up new scenarios, RTCW just freezes the heck right up. Plays great while its playing...but this locking up every other scenario load just gets old! I dont have any problems with any other games. Im not sure what is causing this.
Anyone else having this problem? Changing video modes helps sometimes...but im trying to load Mission 4 part 3 and nothing makes it work! The 'loading bar' at the bottom just stops moving, and the HD light stops blinking, and it freezes. Grr.

found this at a forum
Hey if anybody is having the problems that I mentioned above, try this solution... it worked for me.
1. Go to the GL folder in RTCW and rename the two DLL files found there.
2. Copy OpenGl32 from \Windows\System into the GL folder in the game dir. (Where the two files are).
enjoy... I figured it was trying to load Glide drivers (?!). Nice work ID!

also
You don't have to rename them, you can also delete them, you just have to make sure wolfenstein can't find them. (but renaming is more interesting because you don't lose them in case you'll need them later or something). And afterwards copy the /windows/system/opengl32.dll to the gl-dir in wolfenstein.

Well...ill try that. funny though...console shows RTCW pulling the GL drivers from windows/system, not its own folders.

That didnt fix it....but if I switched (alt-enter) to windowed mode while each scene loaded, it didnt crash. Weird.
Oh, just beat the game....AWESOME game...kind of a weak ending tho...way to easy to beat the last guy. Ah well...now for multiplayer :)
