Just a few questions

I have this board with an athlon XP 1800+. What vcore should I be running at? It's at 1.70v...does this sound right? IT seems to be running ok though so i don't know.

anywy I've been watchign PC Alert III and I was looking at my voltages and this is what i hve

Vcore1 - 1.71
Vcore2 - 1.23
+5V - 4.81 :confused:
3.3V - 3.20
+12V - 11.60 :confused:
and -12V - -12.20

Now the +5v and +12 v seem to be a litle ways off. Are these 'normal' fluctuations guys?

also every once and a while my computer will just reboot for no reason. Maybe my 300W powersupply is not keeping the XP happy?

Anyone else have this board out therE?

Hey koston, welcome to the boards!!

Well I have the same board and your core voltage is fine..
But your 12 and 5 volt rails are low for idle. I def suspect your PSU for your random reboots, get yourself a Antec or Sparkle 400w PSU as they have adjustable "POTS" in them, but for the most part with one of the above psu you should be fine.

Right now at idle with my core voltage at 2.10 my 5v rail is 5.05 and my 12v rail is at 12.20.. So do yourself a favor and get a new PSU.. Otherwise the board is Great:D

your voltage does seem a little on the low side
5v =5.08
12v=12.37
here but I'm running a 530watt (not sure of exat wattage but somewhere in that area)but this is on a classic athlon,got a 430 watt at work and its running a 1400 TB and a freezer and once its powered up my voltage is a little higher than yours
not sure as to readings ,I think my 12v line is at 11.80 in that area,good sugestion by AMD Man for the antec it keeps its voltage up there

Hi there Koston :)

I have an Enermax 431W PSU so shouldn't have any supply trouble and I too noticed that my Vcore seemed a little on the low side @ 1.71V but it has run fine so I think this maybe a monitoring error. The Abit KT7A I had previously would always show about +0.06V higher than the BIOS setting so I guess there's a bit of error present in the readings.
However my 3.3V, 5V and 12V rails are slightly above so as AMDman says go get a good PSU which will cure your random rebooting and give you the juice you need for successful ocing.
