Seems not much has happened..
7 days from this post, APS@Home will be removed from the Vault...
If anyone has an news about this project and why it hasn't had any work since Oct-07, let us know

Well, the reason it didn't have work after October was because the Admin got married... and since then it seems priorities must have changed :/
There was a promise of work by Christmas, by the end of the year, etc. The admin claimed (in December) there were some issues recompiling the applications that had pushed the timeframe out further than anticipated, but nothing mentioned since then.
A project member mentioned only last week that he had received email from the admin and the project is not dead, blah blah... but it clearly isn't alive either.
I'm all for giving it a week and then "see you later"...

Well, he said he was going to have work before the end of the year.
I was going to suggest having February 7 as the deadline since maybe he meant the Chinese New Year.:D
However, I personally believe work units on the project have been and will continue to be too infrequent for the project to be considered "active".

I joined up for this project on 1st Sept 2007.
Never had a single work unit and it's on 8 PC's.
Good job i have more than project set up.
I don't think this is a suitable project for the vault :)

News January 29, 2007 Status Report Unfortunately more patience is the order of the day. Solving the problems with the OS X versions of the last application release is proving more time consuming than I'd expected. Also, commitments in Canada and Borneo until May are due to begin within days. Please feel free to contact me through the message boards or by E-mail about anything you think I may have missed. In the meantime, happy crunching on your other projects, and I'll be back here as soon as possible. The above was posted today on the APS front page. I guess that answers the question: no new WUs until at least May.
May of which year is not specified.

Regardless of what year - I think it's definitely safe to remove the project now and maybe try again in 6 months...

I have deactivated the project and will reactivate it if and when it gets work
