yoyo@home is a wrapper of the distributed.net (http://www.distributed.net/) client and runs OGR (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golomb_ruler) work units. On distributed.net stats server this project is registered with a own account. All distributed.net stats will be credited on this.
You can participate by downloading and running a free program on your computer.

yoyo has added evolution@home (http://www.evolutionary-research.net/) to his portfolio, only available for Windows yet.
You have to chose it in your yoyo preferences (http://www.rechenkraft.net/yoyo/prefs.php?subset=project), and you have to chose test apps for now as well.

So does yoyo do anyway.....?

yoyo tries to wrap non-BOINC projects in the BOINC wrapper to make them available for the Boincies like me.
He doesn't run an "own" project scientifically, but uses existing projects like OGR or evolution (with the consent of the project admins)
Here's the English Wiki entry in his teams Wiki. (http://www.rechenkraft.net/wiki/index.php?title=Yoyo%40home_en)
If you have more questions, you can ask him in his forum.

So really it isn;t a project in itself...?

No, it really isn't a project in itself...
But dnetc and other standalone clients can be a PITA to install, configure, and run, so yoyo gives BOINC users the opportunity to contribute to OGR and other projects.
PrimeGrid is actually another example of this - where it provides an sr2sieve wrapper and LLR wrapper for SoB and PSP (and some other stuff like the twin prime search project, etc.). That doesn't seem to prevent DCV from including PrimeGrid, however.
Either way I don't care if it's included or excluded, but I don't think it should be excluded simply on the basis that it's a "wrapper" project.

Whoo.... Hold ya horses there big fella..... I am not really up to speed on these wrapper BOINC's......
So if I run yoyo and am running OGR(for example) does that go on my DNET scores or is there different stats for that?

yoyo has asked for help to get the scores to existing accounts, but up to now all gnodes are counted for the cruncher (http://stats.distributed.net/participant/psummary.php?project_id=25&id=462671)(and team (http://stats.distributed.net/team/tmsummary.php?project_id=25&team=31743)) yoyo@home BOINC Wrapper, it's not part of any other team and currently on #13 in participants stats and #25 in the team stats.
AFAIK the same is happening with evolution.
Credits are granted according to BOINC standards with fixed credits per gnode, evolution will have fixed credits as well, it's just still in testing.
SO:
yoyo credits are not going to any individuals score, neither on OGR nor on evolution.

Yoyo @ Home is included in BOINCStats as a project and stats are exported. It seems to be simular to World Community Grid by running mulitple projects.

It's a bit different and more complicated, as yoyo wraps existing DC-projects in the BOINC wrapper, so the questions about a possible double count are valid. It would be as if WCG would be counted twice, once for old-fashioned points and once for BOINC-credits, if the achievements for OGR and evo would go to the participants accounts on those projects as well.

So Yoyo@home gets points in each project, ie:OGR and EVO and the user gets BOINC type scores in yoyo???

yes, that's it.
yoyo explicitly didn't join his usual team Rechenkraft.net because of this but created an extra one with only one cruncher officially in OGR-25.
I don't know how and where evo credits are counted at all, on the homepage I only see some standing from half a year ago. probably for them it's the only stats available ATM.

You just have to decide where to put it :D
OGR-25 is clearly mathematical, but evo is biology, probably it's miscellaneous.

Sorry if I sounded angry - nothing of the sort! :)
I just wanted to point out that this isn't entirely a new concept for BOINC projects - with some similar already in the vault :)
My last statement about not caring was simply my non-biased opinion of whether or not it should be in the vault. The project seems like it works fine anyway.
