As i'm hearing it can be sorta cumbersome to register a team for the Seive projects, i'm questioning their eligibility to be a part of the DC Vault until those issues are resolved. How does everyone else feel about this?

Do you mean

- SoB
- Riesel Sieve
- Prime Sierpinski Project?

I see no big problems registering teams for these projects. It is not always done automagically, but at most a forum posting should suffice.

P.S.:
It's Riesel, not Reisel

Hello,

I would welcome any feedback on the user registration, team registration, or other aspects of our pages over at RieselSieve. I haven't heard of any major problems/obstacles with registering either at our project.

While registration of a team is not possible through the LLRNet client itself, registration of a team through our stats pages is easy - and as far as I know, similar to Dnet or SOB.

If there is something in particular that users are looking for to maintain our eligibility over here at the DC-Vault (which I think is a great way of comparing the numerous DC teams across the various projects), please let me know here, or feel free to contact me personally at bryan (at) rieselsieve.com.

I'm not trying to point fingers in any way - I'm always looking for ways to improve our system, and meeting the needs of our users. Anything that would help bring us on par with the "large scale" DC projects would be welcome.

Thanks,
Bryan

Lets wait to hear from those that have registered a team with your project.

What we mainly wanted to avoid is stuff like "waiting lists" or "i'll add you when i get a minute..sometime" which is why an automated team creation form is preferable.

If however manual response to a new team request is fast and efficient, then I see no reason not to include the project (if all other criteria are met ;) )

I've just created an account and joined Team Ninja. Worked flawlessly (except i had to reenter that code ;) )

What I cant find is how to create a team and where to find the info on how to create one. Can this be fixed? :)

edit: ignore this... just found it :)

Criteria met :D

Awesome. Thanks for the quick reply. We are working on site navigation (actually, an entire overhaul of the site itself, including layout and navigation, improving processes, etc.), so links and such will be changed. I figured we were meeting the requirements, just needed a second look ;)

Again, any input people have on improving things is always welcome over at our forums or by email.
