Um,
you're welcome... ;)

But feel free to keep the accolades coming for the extremely difficult task of moderating the Sci-Fi forum...

I'd like to thank all who have contributed to the site, past and present. We've been in this together a long time. As time passes, people's personal circumstances change, life is always changing.

We've always been a family here. Even though some no longer have the time to contribute on a moderator or admin level, it doesn't make them any less of a respected member of this community, and I hope they know the door is always open. Like any family, we hope this will always be a place to call home.

I joined in 2000 myself, and made it through the big split, only to have all of our post counts and join dates be wiped out and restart on July 23, 2001.
We have been and seen a lot come and go, but we remain here, through thick and thin.

Loyal and true, we are.

Take care...........

And here I was thinking Team Ninja was formed from the 3DHQ team.

Yes, change can be good (keeping fingers crossed). ;)

Hi all,

Team Ninja was around long before the joining of forces.

Fluke sold the site and forces were combined.

Any more than that and I leave the explaination to the bosses of the site.
I don't want to give wrong info .

Take care.........

"Ask ten people a question and you will get ten different answers"

It was a pi$$ poor attempt at humor! :( Do not want to drag the history of the various incarnations of the team out, again. Sorry, I'll say no more on the subject.

Hi Lee

checked some old paperwork and it looks like I started crunching for the Ninjas at the beginning of the genome@home (genome@home) project May 2000 but joined NM the end of 99 over six years ago - we are amongst the oldest members thats for sure

Was it that long ago that Genome @ Home started? it sure does not seem like it was that long ago. Really enjoyed Genome, had to be one of the top two easiest clients ever to sneakernet.

Congratulations to all those deserving m8s on their promotions! Now get to work you slackers :whip: :whip: :whip:

Please be aware that of all the DC areas, the one that will quickly be changing the most is SETI, and the challenges ahead are considerable and somewhat intimidating. I will continue to work diligently and hope to make a smooth transition in reporting/moderating/overseeing that area, and wish to thank all of you for any help you can extend in making that happen.

Kindest regards,

Hog the Elder :sunshine:

I've got every confidence that the transition from Classic to Boinc will go practically unnoticed thanks in no small part to your tireless efforts Hogster... and for that... we're the ones who are, and will continue to be, very grateful to you :sunshine:

You will, I'm sure... receive our full support as always :hifive:
