>News< Commentary for Saturday, October 11th

Hello again, and welcome to the daily blat for Saturday!

We had a quiet, but productive day of crunching and continued overtaking our next target. Our team position is shown as 99, and we are 5445 w00ts away from Scotland's SETI. They are not within firing range yet, but we are closing even though they appear to be at top warp. Our final mark for Saturday was 667,952 with 1408 returned for the day. Ever onwards and upwards, Ninjas!

Special congratulations to Robert Basil for 40 CPU years and to David Whitney for 47 CPU years of crunching SETI. Wow, what a lot of processing time that represents!!

Milestones: none attained on this day

Promotions: none attained on this day

STOMP report: yardgnome02 has STOMPED Jules to take 71st place in the GaseousMatter league! KuDvAyNe has STOMPED wylie to take 43rd place in the Stellar league! Ramokk has STOMPED Tweety to take 39th place in the Stellar league! Keep those big feet flying, gentlemen!! :bouncy:

Rumor Central: We hear LOUD rumblings just over the horizon, and it sounds like heavy artillery! Could this signify the approach of a dumpmaster shooting to topple Robert's tremendous output? We know there is ambition and talent in TheContinuum, and competition there is fierce! But who is it? Stay tuned as the saga unfolds! :)

>DoD< goes to Robert Basil for yet another magnificent dump of 530 w00ts, earning him one of the coveted T'pol awards! WTG, Robert!! :xohyes:

>POD< goes to the venerable DOCTOR WHO, for best ever daily production of 221 w00ts, earning him a Janeway award! Outstanding performance, Doc!

I didn't crunch to much yesterday, I went to a friends house for some LAN action.

 Thank you for the kind words, Doc. In my nearly five months here, I've learned so much... but have so much more to learn that it's nearly unbearable. Old heads like mine do not easily absorb new things, but I do try... :)

Well done, Ninjas!! It's the TEAM here that counts... hence the nick "Counts of Crunch"
