After much hard work, and a lot of discussion, the new site design is complete :) It will give us a new "look and feel" and there are some new and interesting features which will be incorporated.

Sometime on Sunday I will be closing the forums for about an hour whilst we update the forum software to Beta 6. Following this the front page will be updated and the new features made available.

We all hope you will enjoy this new look :D

Or I could do the exact opposite and do this:

Sys Key:[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\Explorer\
BitBucket]

Value Name:
NukeOnDelete

Data 1

Total opposite , but even more fun! lol

:) Just an observation, so don't shoot me, please....

However, everytime you come out of the gate, so to speak, while you are a gentlewoman about it, you always start-off on a negative note or so it seems....

None of the other Admin's, Moderators, and nor Owners, pull out their guns first and ask questions later... is this just your style (?)....

The lads are having a little friendly hazing, and have known each for years... I do not see the need to tell them to play nice... Jema knows them all, and is a big-boy, in and on his own part....

This conundrum, has been in the back of my mind, every time I see you enter a thread... is it just me, or is it memorex...?

Note: No insults intended, nor bad feelings, just curious as to "why."

Thanks -doc :)

Yikes! I don't know how to respond to this..as I've never been accused of being heavy handed nor am I a fan of "pulling out guns" so I'm thinking perhaps we have a misinterpretation. Many of the ninja crew has known me for about 2 years and in some cases 6 or more, so I do understand they were teasing and I'd expect they'd know I was teasing as well.

..the caplock reference was a bit of an inside joke.

NO hard feelings at all..and again I'm so sorry you've interpreted my posts in this way.

oops

this is my fault doc :D

tis an inside joke...i like to have cheap shots at peeps (part of my charm donchaknow)..well, ok maybe just at Nano ;) and Jules promised to keep me in line (but only with kinky toys i've never heard of ;) ) - nano threatened to delete me last time LOL ..he knows I could never stand my post count and 'old timer' status to be threatened  (and just to clarify: NANO did not mention any kinky love toys  )

I'm somewhat biased but I can vouch that Jules would NEVER respond in such a fashion - and also that she IS a big TEASE :p (and a damned good mod too :sunshine: )

:) Cool. Mia Culpa, Mia Culpa... Jules :banghead:

I did not know :dunno: what you meant by caps lock off, but it makes sense now, ie: not yelling... via subcase font... makes simple sense, that I missed.... Hence I asked my question(s)

I've rarely crossed your path, so the problem would be on my end...

Please do not take what I typed to you as derogatory in any manner...

It was not meant :nooo: that way, nor would I have posted anything like that in the open, I would have PM'd you....

Hence, my innocence-of-question did not come through properly....

I apologize to you, :xohyes: therefore, as I did not intend for you to "yikes" @ my query... but to explain, as you have [thank you]...

This then, helps all-members, to realize, that this two-dimensional format should be read and typed closely... as the emotion is absent, until we place [or do not place] the appropriate smiley into the post

I'm just trying to learn the various mannerisms of our members, so that "I" know how to correspond with them, [and you], and to correctly interpret the email-shorthand that we all use in some sort of fashion when we post. :)

As I mentioned, there was an absence-of-malice on my part, when I posted my question....:( I thought I had gotten use to all of the language differences by now, obviously, I have not, :dunno: or I need to open my eyes a little larger, or get closer to the monitor.

And now, re-reading your post #7 RE: "capslock off", it is very clear, that you were joining-in, with the friendly-hazing-teasing....;)

By being a Moderator it struck me, that was a little hasty....

I'm not used to Moderator's joking around with us common-folk... as the Mod's are the Law-Judges [Judge Dread..:cunning:??]... so I asked, openly, with no hidden agenda... and no malice... just curious, nothing more :)

So Jules, once again, the non-understanding was on my part, and I was only attempting to seek an answer, which you provided, which was what I needed to know, so thank you again.

I was not trying to play the Ogre, nor :troll: nor to spoil the fun....

I should have worded my post differently, hence it is "I" that was too hasty.

Had I crafted my post :typing: more articulately, you would not have gone into a "yikes" mode, Mod....:squished:

Mia Culpa, Mia Culpa... and thank you for helping me understand.

a simple misinterpretation is all it was my good friend ;)

Whilst I personally feel you're (obviously heart-felt) apology was not entirely necessary, I completely understand (and respect) your desire to post it (t' help clear the air 'n' all), and as such, I'm quite sure it will be accepted graciously and in the good spirit it's intended

You're a very good man for making such a public apology IMHO  Have a double Glenmornagie (or whatever you're favourite tipple :D) on me m8 :thumb:

[edit] Having just seen your other new post ('FAO Meady') Doc, it's possible that the reason for your public apology is more deep-rooted than I had realised when I initially responded above? My comments still stand nonetheless ;) [edit]

Doc, you are a better man than I.

It takes a lot of courage and honour to stand up in the way you have done.

You have my utmost respect. :worship:

:) ...once upon a dream, many years hence... I think HE said to me:

"measure twice... and cut once...."

But I don't believe HE was talking about wood, nor of fish, but: of man....
