Profile pictures allows people to upload an additional image, other than their avatar, which is diplayed on the member profile page. It is intended to allow people to upload a photograph of themselves so that other members can see what they look like. To upload your profile picture click on the avatar link in your user control panel and go to the bottom of the page where you will see the profile picture controls.
