Upgrade Complete

We are now running vBulletin V3 beta 5 :D

As part of the upgrade all of the styles have been set to the forum default. The old styles have been upgraded so you can select your preferred style from within your user control panel (via the "user cp" button at the top of each page). Whilst you are in your usercp it may be worth checking your timezone settings because the new software will allow now cater for daylight saving :) Whilst in there you may wish to change your toolbar to use the enhanced WYSIWYG toolbar to gain the benefits of this wonderful new option.

Note - For people who do not use IE5.5 and above there are know problems with the WYSIWYG editor which are being worked on

As I was telling the mods, we are quite possibly the only site running VB 3.0.0 Beta 5 - fully hacked. Only Nano could do this. Even the folks from VB.org haven't got this far. This was a HUGE, very involved task.

This is very, very neat. There are a lot of easter eggs (in a manner of speaking) to be found, such as when you mouse over certain things.

Glad you like it. There is also a nice download function for your PMs and if you click on the archive link at the bottom of the page you can see printable versions of all the threads :)

As they do not conform to the html standards and can only be viewed in IE5+ I am not sure if they will be ressurrected. A solution is possible but would be quite restrictive and cumbersome for only IE users to be able to see :p

The thing is they do not glow or shadow :lol:

I left the bbcode in even though they do not work because it stops posts and sigs showing the bbcode :)

They worked for me in IE but not in Firebird (which is what I'm using at the moment)


...so this means the shadow in my sig doesn't work for anyone but those using IE then?

If you notice the thread view options Hybrid and Threaded, the extra click for the quick reply is needed for the Threaded view. The quick reply used to be a hack, and now it's built in. I think Nano is already looking at a way around that though :)
