Strange something?

I hadn't been on the site from 8something lastnight til 6something this morning, and when I logged on, it said I had 20 new private messages....but I didn't :scratch:

It says I have 1 new PM and 2 total messages in my box. When I check, I have 1 in inbox and 1 in sent, so that + 1 new would equal 3, not 2...

Okay, also in the publishing forum it's showing a thread of mine as having a new reply, but the last reply in that forum was mine and I know it's not new, it's about 2 days old? :scratch:

I think everything got reset to about 10m days back - I had over 500 threads to read, and more PM's than I could cope with!

All seems well now though :)

I loged in yesterday,. and understandably there were a lot of threads to check.. about 120. (it had been a few days)

Now I log in one day later and there are nearly three hundred?

Look at the last date online...it will probably be wrong. Somehow I think one of the hacks got messed up.

There was a corruption of the user database which meant nobody was able to login. As I only had a few minutes I grabbed the latest backup of the database and uploaded it. There will be a few discrepancies ie post counts, last access times, unread threads and any user fields you may have changed.
