News< Commentary for Thursday, August 7th

Hello, and welcome to the commentary for Thor's Day! Our current team position is shown as 77, with 514,375 units, and 1016 for the day. Seti Alpha AU and Hardware Upgrade smoked us, but we outpaced Team Denmark and Team Canopus with yet another great day of crunching. We must continue the push for adding new members and revitalizing existing ones so we can forge ahead. Ever onwards and upwards, Ninjas!!

Special congratulations go to Yosey for achieving 2 CPU years of SETI crunching! Good work, Yosey!!

Honorable mention goes to The_Dragon, Caveracing, Ramokk, Hans Arne Iversen, and bicycleman7 for crunching steadily in the background, building a strong foundation for our team in the move onwards and upwards! Every woot counts, and we count on you!

STOMP report: Meady STOMPS NanoBIT and jumps from Comet league to Mars and 50th place. CHIMAERA STOMPS Tweety and takes 34th place. Fine footwork, m8's!! :xohyes:

Observation: TheContinuum is a small, elite group here who collectively crunch 60% or more of our w00ts. Thanks for the leadership by example!!!

Rumor central: #1 We have it on good authority that a new member will be showing up very soon to begin working up the ranks and embarrassing those who sit idly by with parked w00ts! He will embarrass those who crunch, too! Look out, m8's, because the footwork will be a terpsichorean delight! #2 There will be two major milestones broken Friday and mentioned in the coming report. Keep your eyes peeled!!

Legend - What do all these awards stand for??

DoD - Dump of Day - awarded for a remarkable dump of w00ts
POD - Producer Of the Day - highly subjective and at the whim of the commentator
MAM - Most Active Member - most units produced in the league that day
Phoenix - Awarded to a team member who has been long inactive and has returned to active duty
StompMaster - Awarded to the member who stomps the most people on a single day

Another great report, Hog - thanks for that.

Two milestones, and a new member? WOW :D

I have achieved all I wanted to do with the "Meady" account, so I will be switching production back to my main account, in my quest to reach 5,000 w00ts before the project ends.

Dumps will be irregular from now on, but effective nontheless. :cunning:

Onwards and (ever) upwards, Ninja!

We try our best. I am lucky at present I have large amount of hardware that I can use at work. Just don't have the time to keep it all running 7*24. Just wish I had met Mark and David earlier; it would not have taken me 3 years to reach 500WUs.

This is a team effort and it great to see The_Dragon, Caveracing, Ramokk, Hans Arne Iversen and (I will add) KuDvAyNe all contributing to the team total. Every member of the team is valuable, but being active makes you more valuable.
