OGR-24 Completion Percentage: 98.66 (+0.02)

Fist let me welcome both Shadow Dragon and Fizban to the world of OGR-24! Each has contributed already to either OGR-25 and/or RC5-72, but today was the first day they have contributed to our OGR-24 crusade! And judging from yesterday’s output .. it really is a crusade!

Yesterday we were the number one team in the project. If you divided our score by ½ … we sere still #1 …. If you divided it into fourths … then any single portion would have been #1. In short … we DPC’d the project. We didn’t just eek out a number one position … we owned it. Either of our top two producers would have given us the number 1 spot even if no other member added their production …

In short … YeeHaw!

Now … this is where the job of being a commentator becomes difficult. How the heck do you “comment” about a team member when that member is yourself??? One method is to speak as if the member is someone else and I’ve done that in the past but today I’m going to try a different tack … in other words, bald self-aggrandizement!

To put is simply, Radar (myself) had a banner day. Over 100K produced in OGR-24 (marking the first time that a member has had 100K days in both OGR-24 and OGR-25) along with a further 20K in OGR-25 … for a day that fell just short of being 125K in combined OGR (also managed a few RC5 units too … ;)). To wit … I did good!

But what shouldn’t be overlooked in this madness is how many others had stellar days! PenDragon tossed in 35K Gnodes in OGR-24 (which was close to doubling his score, whereas my 100K was only a 15% increase!). He also added 16K in OGR-25 which DID double his score in that project and also brought is OGR daily total to over 50K!

LinearB/A added 25K in OGR-24 and another 9K in OGR-25, cresting 400K overall in OGR-24 (even though Friday is not his normal dump day). All told the team dumped 250K OGR Gnodes in a single day and that is a definite team record, and one that could not have been accomplished without the support of lots of team members!

I’ll mention one more … tsimri … her totals crept over 2K … and she stomped one or two peeps … but this is the kind of dedication and consistency that really help!

Everybody pat yourself on the back for a fabulous job done! Awards!

My main machines down, the one of my harddisks took out an entire disk array :(, I had alot of OGR-24 built up on that harddisk, bloody thing.

My trusty old pentium 200 with 64MB of ram is still going tough ;) I'll be out of the rat race for a bit :(
