Welcome my friends! Yes, somehow it seems that ol’ 10:13 has actually managed to do a commentary on the right day! I know that this has caused several of you to reach for you heart medications but I guess that is your problem, not mine .. ;)

The team put up a very respectable 837 units today which takes us to a total of 456,776. If the SAH team page will ever update, then it is possible that the DCI-S page will update and show us at 111th instead of 672nd … something that I would be personally overjoyed to see! Some of you may be unaware of the DCI pages. DCI stands for Distributed Computing Index … an attempt to rank DC teams across a broad spectrum of DC projects, somewhat similar to own SSS stats. I know that I’ve been somewhat missing in action here on the Seti board but I assure you I have been active for Team Ninja … it’s just that I’ve been focusing my attentions on the broader spectrum of projects for a while. Along those lines you may (or may not!!!) want to check out http://www.msu.edu/~bercikda/index.html … our overall ranking has risen from 26th overall to 16th overall.

So … here on the Seti front … I think I need to award this!:

>StompMaster< – theking_19832002 – for a double stomp of both Seebee and Tweety! Well done, king!

Like I said we are at 111th … but it’s not going to be long before we rise a bit. Several teams are close the are in our sights! First off is Hardware Upgrade - Seti@home at 458,104, a mere 1400 units away. Let’s get them soon!

Three members earned a Picard award for their best ever weeks production: Yosey for 36 units, r9brian for 204 units, and theking_19832002 for 73 units.

Well done to everybody!

>MAM< r9brian - Jupiter - 29 units - (27th day in a row)
>MAM< theking_19832002 - Stellar - 11 units - (8th day in a row)
>MAM< bicycleman7 - RedGiant - 8 units
>MAM< Codfish_II - SuperGiant - 28 units - (3rd day in a row)
>MAM< Bob Young - BlackHole - 108 units - (35th day in a row)
>MAM< Farley - TheContinuum - 225 units

Legend - What do all these awards stand for??
POD - Producer Of the Day - highly subjective and at the whim of the commentator
MAM - Most Active Member - most units produced in the league that day
Phoenix - Awarded to a team member who has been long inactive and has returned to active duty
StompMaster - Awarded to the member who stomps the most people on a single day

yanno ... no one says we can't consider a little redecorating. Anybody else see a need for re-working our award titles or anything like that?

Actually, it's surprising the number of teams we have pulled ahead of in the DCI. We've really done well across the broad brush of projects.

hmm, if we can come up with a decent award scheme, it ain't that hard to switch things over. So long as we can get the piccies, this was what took the time with the trek awards.
