Dnet 2-day update for 03-Jun-2003 to 05-Jun-2003

Well, it appears that the most recen6t spate of OGR-24 stubs has run its course. Both DNET proxies (us.v29 and euro.v29) as well as Hawkeye’s proxy are now giving OGR-25 stubs once again. I guess that Farley will now be able to stomp wylie if he so wishes! ;) ;). It has been an awesome run while they lasted this time as we jumped from somewhere above ranking 90 in the low 40s!

The good news here is that this will allow us to return our focus to RC5 and to OGR-25. In RC5 we can now concentrate on tackling the rather awesome challenge of Team Seti USA and in OVGR-25 we can continue our quest to get our ranking into the sub 100 range (and believe me … that is one heck of a challenge!

Hmmmm … I am not quite sure what to do about Nanobot … he seems determined to hang around the #500 spot worldwide in OGR-24, bouncing up and down above actuall mark. Given the way the stats are reported … he only gets mentions when he goes below the magic number … and nothing is said when he drifts back above it … :D :D :roflmao: Maybe now that Termie has also gone below the 500 mark, Nano give him the good fight!.

Also … the team now has it’s first Top 100 member in any of the three projects. Radar went below the majic number with the last update. One heck of an accomplishment

Many thanks to Nano for all the work he puts into the stats and commentary templates. I can’t tell you how much work it save me and every other commentator in any project when that are able to use a template to begin a commentary. In this case I’m talking about his recent changes to our Target Tracking Data section, which now lists which team is the target and has changed the actual target in RC5 to our new challenge, Team Seti USA … and have I mentioned what a challenge they are going to be???

Great read 10 !, was down in the smoke (London) yesterday on a Monopoly based pub crawl so not quite with it today ;).

I've still got a few 24 stubs to do so I'm hoping I can gain some lost ground :). RSA is proving a little bit of a pain with my rather slow dialup so I'm probably going to wind that side of things down and after a brief effort in Sengent/TSC wil return to the dnet fold.

I still have some hardware things to sort out which should bring my power up another few Ghz, and I can only resist those cheap Barton's for so long ;)

Gonna!!!

Your clever placing of 24 units into my cache has gotten me so far behind you in 25 that I need a telescope to see your name from where I'm at
