Changes underway ?

Hi folks

have not been around too much theses past days so i missed something important regarding the BB/forums - see we no longer have SuperMods are there any other things i have missed?

No other changes that I know of yet. If you look closely, you'll see section moderators instead of Supermods now :)

I'm using the SETI forum style, and all members are coming up in the gold color instead of all of the different colors like they used to.

We're going to change the colours of the WOL list, we just have to come up with colours that work in every style.

Just out of curiosity, did everyone like that different name colours?

I know I did, but I can't speak for everyone. I think it helps members identify the mods, admins, etc, easily.

Yes but the colours were so bright they made my eyes bleed :eek:

I prefered the different colours as it caught your attention whereas the single colour tends to get overlooked unless your online quite a bit and watch to see who is around. :D

well we are thinking of using different colours but a little more subtle than they were :p

I completely understand what you mean Rids, and it really just depends on what style you are using. I am on the SETI style, and the colors worked very nicely, but on some of the other styles, I can see what you mean about them being too bright. It took a while to get the right color combo for all of the styles last year when we had just the few, but when we added all of the news ones, it through those colors off. Happy hunting for he new colors! :D

I argee with Johnny, the colors are ezer to get attention, 1 solid color comes up.... blahhhh They don't have to be brite, just different..

My 2p I like them better now all one colour - before I was a moderator I was often daunted by all of the officers and stripes that were around. Put me off a bit, and to be honest most occasional visiting members would not know the diference between a mod/supermod/admin anyway.

If we want to attract more members then this might be something to consider.
