I just set the client up on my work server, which is a duallie.. I noticed when it started it was looking for fastest core, etc, said it 'found 2 processors' then it started 2 crunchers (a & b) I guess it's using both processors? Do I want it to do this? I'll leave it go over the weekend but I don't want it slowing down the work server

Thanks!

Um,
Dnet is usally very good at releasing the processor when other work is called, I've certainly had no problems with it. It runs at a much lower priority than DF or Genome, so I would be inclined to leave it as a duallie for now, and if anyone complains hit them over the head with a rubber duck.

Of course, thats just me....

FG is quite correct, the dnetc client is excellent at keeping out of the way of anything that requires resources. Although other DC clients claim to run at the lowest priority if you run dnetc with them the other client always take almost all of the CPU. Which is why a lot of people run it with other projects so that if the other client fails you are not losing any CPU cycles
