For those fortunate enough to have reached 40, tho some may say unfortunate :p
Can you remember what you did ?
Big party, quiet dinner for two ?

Mine ran away when we crossed the 24 mile marker this year
Now I gotta find another 25 year-old blonde or brunette, and train her; all over again. On second thought, maybe I'll LET them train me....
Or was DeWill talking about woots again....
What worries me, is I'm starting to get used to this living by myself stuff... I make a great "lap-dog" but I suppose that's not in the cards I have in the Tardis.
Hey Crystallize, know any females in your Country looking for an old time lord to live with...? :D I'm 50% German; 25% Irish; and 25% time lord :)

For me, I was very boring.
I took care of kids, house and went to church.
My brother was suppose to have come and have lunch with us and then my husband was going to take me out for a romantic dinner. However, my brother decided to be late and good manners had us feed his family dinner before they left for home. I would not have minded except he did not call to say he would be late and give us a choice as to what we wanted to do. His wife was very embarassed about it all.
However, being 40 is great. I am a lot better off than when I was thirty. I have the world's best husband. The greatest children. And I would not change it for anything. (I waited until 34 to get married and 35 to start having children)
You know a lot of people want to be young again so that they can change certain aspects of their lives. I would not. Because I am so afraid that if I just changed one thing then I would not have the great family I have today.

I really hope I can have that same outlook on life when I reach forty, lady DC :)
Best wishes to all half-octogenarians! :D

I went out with my wife and prayed she had nothing surprising planned. Got home and our front door was done in black balloons and paper for the world to see, compliments of my sister.
I reminded her that paybacks are tough.

;) ...posting all of that negative stuff about my RL... it is getting on a bit and really boring.... Thank you for your kind thoughts; but ironically, earlier, everyone [except 888] that was in the Continuum, had-had their life "tanked" in one way or another: job loss, spouse loss, house loss [hey I'm 3 for 3]....
The Team said be healed doctor; and I said "doctor heal thyself."
:magic: >poof< I'm better, and back in the saddle again... now it's just all of the paper work that'sa goona bite-me; plus I really AM looking for a Miss/Mrs Who... if you know any, I have an opening... and I'm not 40 :D [but was married for 24 years = do the math]... I was hel3l [the 3 is silent] when I was well... oh the stories I could tell.
You know, we need an: "over 21 years of age forum" :xohyes: ... so we can let off some steaminess, without exposing our youth... who would just laugh at us anyway, or describe topics not meant for the local gender [did I say that right... (?) its tough to think British with an Ohio mind] :spot:
