Hmmmmnnn... I've got a (minor) problem?

I've just gone to the 'Create a Sig' page (as I call it :D) t' update my sig figures following a small G@H upload yesterday, but I'm no longer allowed t' do so :(

The reason for this 'hiccup' is that I reformatted my HDD at the beginning of the week, and... since the units I'd crunched were done for Team Picard... the Sig page no longer recognises the Seti units I've previously crunched

Will I have have t' crunch at least another unit under Team Ninja before I can update my sig now, or can this be 'fixed'

I think you'll have to run a token seti unit to get access to that section as seti is still the key project.

I seem to be in apology mode

it is harder than it looks to sort out the seti unit issue. It is on the list though....

I plan to find time quite shortly for a couple of days of firefighting the urgent issues and hopefully adding the sig gallery.

In the longer term, as soon as Callisto3 is released, which admittedly may be a couple more months or so.... I do plan to direct a lot of real energy back into Ninja.

No need for apologies jema, R/L has to take precedence as it tends to pay the bills :D

You couldn always bring that Seti Unitover from TP to the TN team.

Just grab the password for the username you are using that's at TP and join TN now instead.

Thanks for that suggestion ^7 ;) -as always... it's good t' see ya poppin' in here occasionally, and still providin' logical solutions t' help overcome different problems

Incredible tho' this might sound... I woz actually thinkin' about that very solution last night meself :D but... never having 'moved' units b4, it all sounds rather more complicated t' a :newbie: like myself, than simply joining the TN-TNG Seti@Home team, and crunchin' a couple o' units for em?

Also... signing up wi' TN-TNG will give me the option t' stop crunchin' G@H for a while, and help the team (in whatever small way :p) as/when the need for 'all hands t' the pump' action is required :D

I appreciate your input nonetheless ^7... and "lang may yer lum reek" as we often say north o' the border :thumb:
