Joining rc5

Hi All
A Question regarding joining the team.
The popup box asks for username. and password.
In the FAQ it says ID# ? and password.
Where does the ID# GO ?
What goes in the user name ?

Jed ... the ID# is actually the email addy that you use when you configure dnetc.ini ... the password is created for by distributed.net and will be mailed to you (at that address) if you click on the "mail me my password button" ... which can be found on your personal stats page ... (search on your addy under Participant Stats)

That should do it for you

I have my password, and have work sent back.
When I try to join, the popup gives option username.
and password.
No option for id#
I put Jed for user name, and my password and got an error.

Hence my question.

put in the email addy, rather than the username ... I think that should work ...

If not ... it's time to call for the Terminator

10:13 is correct, dnet recognises you by your email address. Once you've got your password you can give yourself a username but you id remains your email.

I lost my way :lol: I've sent some work back yesterday and last night (at least I think I did) but when I search my email addy I'm not coming up :xpout: am I being impatient?

Stats update once a day at 7pm EST and last for up to 4 or 5 hours each time.

May take up to three or four days before you actually get listed on the stats, due to problems if something goes wrong with the stats update.

Dnets, stats have not been updating these last few days.. thtas why I run the proxy, 2-3 times a month their server goes nutzoid.

They look current now. ive noticed a few extras on my proxy, Welcome Squeaky, Chelle and Rids :)
