Moderator elections

Now that the dust has settled it's time for you (the members) to select who you would like as moderators for this forum on a permanent basis. I would also like to thank LinearB and Terminator for stepping in and doing a great job as temporary caretakers during this time of great change. :)

Please post your nominations for these two positions below, keeping in mind that Supermods and Admins are not eligible. If it becomes apparent that there are more than two viable nominees then the election will be decided by vote.

Firstly thanx for all those who mentioned my name, it's nice to be appreciated ;)

Secondly Hawkeye has done as much as anybody (if not a little more) to get our dnet team where it is today and so get's my vote along with Termie.

Desire yes, Time, not always.. being in the Army has its advantages, but one is that you work 24/7 365, and to this point I am suprised I am not somewhere in Iraq or Afghanistan. And I have to let you all know, that sometime in the future, it might happed actually.. SOmething for you all to think about for those who think id be a worthy Mod

Hawkeye's the reason I'm fully focused on the Dnet stuff at the moment so he and LB would get my vote :)

So I suppose the question now becomes ... is there a need for an election here or not? THere have only been three nominations and at least one Adminb/Owner has said why not allow three given Hawk's time restraints ...

Sooooo .... is there anything further that needs to be done here? I'm perfectly happy with Chelle's solution if everyone else is ..

I'd love to see all 3 but after discussing it with the other owners I think the consensus is 3 mods really would be overkill right now as it's still a fairly small board... (for now) :cunning:

But, to narrow it down to 2... ack.. it's so hard! :xpout:

Thank you Hawkeye for that gallant withdrawal, I don't think anybody wanted to have to choose between you three and judging by the nominations it would have gone all the way to the wire. It may make choices difficult but having three such worthy members nominated for the positions can only bode well for Team Ninja and the future. There are no losers here, everyone's a winner, LinearB and Terminator retain the moderator positions they have held over the past months (and proved themselves most worthy) and you Hawkeye have gained much respect from your team mates. :thumbsup:
