It has been one very long day, among the longest I have ever had (and I am prone to long days upon occaision). To come home, log on and see you here posting away (nevermind having joined the team!!) ... well I can't tell you how much this has perked up my week and weekend! :banana: :banana:

I've diverted a fair bit of power to lend a bit of a hand to some of our restarted teams (to be specific, the Dnet teams which is an old love of mine) as well as trying to make a belated contribution to the Distributed folding team, and I'm going to eventually reconfigure to send some help to the Genome team ... but I am still sending in a reasonable sum to my Seti account.

Which is to say ... I'm sitting here waiting for you to come get me! :neener: :neener: ... I hadn't intended to go full boar on Seti until BOINC starts ... but I garuantee that if you do get close ... I will bring everything back to full power ... so if and when you pass me you will know you've overtaken me at fullest power.

I know it's gonna be tough to catch and "pass" 10:13... but it's worth a try. Hmmmm, me have a trick or two on board the Tardis...(?) I suppose it's possible, in the computing horsepower sence of the word. You know how I am with my sonic-screwdriver, I'm always tinkering around, if not somewhat absent-minded... but always tinkering.... :xohyes:

We may surprise each other at the same time, but you should not feel threatened to quickly, as I still only have my home resources aboard the Tardis, with which to crunch... so you're safe for, oh another 60 days... I'm always running out of time.... :nod:

And with the disintegration of my personal life in full gear, well let's just say it has been a consuming century....

What with all of these religious states around the globe, coming out with their nuclear prowess'... we have to wonder if their society is sophisticated enough to handle the responsibility that comes along with the technology and the ability to annihiliate mankind.... I rather think we are on the edge of oblivion, WWIII, or the last war.... I really hope that I am wrong. But when a religion of 1.4 billion people are mis-informed, and guided, and molded into killing folks in the UK and the US and elsewhere, just because we do not embrace their conservatism... then they are handed the BOMB... well I just don't know m8's. :(

I've lived through wars beginning with the Korean War in 1952... but none had the world consuming anger and hatred that we face now. Hitler was atrocious, can this religion be any better than Hitler...? There was no compromise with him either....

Well no Squeaks'... I'm looking for a new wife, as my current one is on the way out, and slamming the door behind her... no compromise. You must change "together" as a married couple [absolutely] or you shall change apart, and become strangers... then it's only a matter of time until one walks.... Hence my marriage tanked this year... with jema's and jed's and a few other's, I'm back from the dead... I have cloistered the pain away; now I look forward to cleaning up this mess. Hence, a new, or used, wife [woman] would be nice.

Note: I refer to my two P2-400 computers as "daleks" ... I figured more ram in both would get me up to 10:13, eh...? :spot:
