First Team Ninja Midlands Meeting

The first meeting of the Midlands Team Ninja alcoholics crunchaholics will be held at the Sherwin Arms (between Nottingham and Derby on the A52) on the 1st March at 8pm. Current attendees are three of the usual suspects, namely LinearB, Terminator and myself. Anyone who can make it will be most welcome and, unless we can steal Terminators camera, will be photographed :D

lessee the 1st of March..... well I could be washing my hair? I certainly will be if there are any nasty camera thingies around..... :lol:

8 oclock is pretty late actually, and last time we were in the Sherwin I couldn't hear anything because the music was so loud.... (yes I know its not a patch on Elemental or Liquid or any other "theme crap" pub) whatever happened to the quiet English pint?

I might make it, but its gonna depend on whether I can afford the car, cos I have to come down the week after anyway, and that eats up my rental budget for the month..... unless I drive a Peradua Nippa.... :(

I tend to agree so an alternate venue could be The Other Side Of The Moon (http://www.multimap.co.uk/map/browse.cgi?client=public&X=450000&Y=335000&scale=50000&width=500&height=300&gride=449731&gridn=335055&coordsys=gb&db=pc&addr1=&addr2=&addr3=&pc=NG96JW&advanced=). There are two rooms there (three is you include the side room which is not very often open), so if it is too loud in one we could always use the other :D

This is rather annoying, on the the 1st of March I will be in... Nottingham :rolleyes: and hence won;t be able to make it :( If I was at home I would be a strong contender for attendance, but we are visting friends as a family.

I must say that I will be unable to make the Midlands meeting ... again ... *sigh*. THough I've just talked to the sife and asked here when we could go to England/Scotland again and she said "As soon as we can afford it!" ... even after I told her that she'd have to meet a whole bunch of you folks :D).

Sooo ... sometime I hope to meet you all and I'll be sure to give plenty of advance warning this time ... no silly 25th anniversary celebrations to get in the way (umm ... 25th anniversarys are not silly ... I recommend them to anybody).

Enjoy yourselves peeps ... I really wish I could be there ...

Hey,
maybe we could meet earlier and go and watch Derby play. This would have the added advantages of:
1) Increasing Derbys crowd by 300%.

2) Giving us all a good laugh.
