any particular points to make on this release?

I run Linux and love its stability, one of the main reasons not to upgrade!

Honestly i have no clue about mandrake at all. I have a friend who swears by it. Me i will be using Gentoo linux when i buil my new rig around march some time.

and i say, IF your happy with your distro of linux, more power to you, thats whats it's about in the long run being happy with your OS as long as you want to be...
