home or pro ?

after 6 reinstall of xp home is it time to buy xp pro. is this o/s gaming friendly cant find any info on ms site to say either way

It's perfectly friendly to my games :)

The only real difference between Home and Pro is the inclusion of extra networking stuff for the business envrionment in Pro.

For what you need, there probably won't be much difference.

What problems have you been encountering to require 6 installs? I would start looking at dodgy hardware if I were you.
