Ah, but better than that, have you seen the 10min video over on FilePlanet?
It contains the intro scene, and several minutes of the beginning of the game.
It probably contains one or two early spoilers, so watch at your own peril.
In the meantime, I'm kicking my heels til the 7th comes around and I can get my hands on it :D

I watched that video Bursar... it is indeed the full intro from the game, so it's not really a 'spoiler' per-se. Actually... it gives ye a good excuse for getting straight into the game... which a lot of us tend t' do anyway, so we hardly ever see intros :thumb:
I just got my copy from Amazon today, but... after all the anticipation, it woz kickin me out every 5 mins with a GPF error  I woz not a happy Teddy, coz I'd been oooooooooo lookin' forward t' playin' the game
Before losin' me rag altogether tho'... and sayin' something via email t' the developers I later regretted, I visted a couple o' (U2 specific) forums (e.g. here (http://www.ina-community.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?forumid=281)), and found out there's a problem wi' EAX!
[rant mode on] Wouldn't you have thought they'd have sorted out what must surely be one o' the main sound-related features in the/any game well before now :( Why is it that EAX is almost always one o' the first features in a game t' cause problems? More importantly... why isn't it one o' the first features the games developers get sorted out prior to release  [rant mode off :D]
Anyways... I simply disabled EAX (it's actually disabled as default, but... having a 5.1 system, I like t' use it) and the game's runnin' smooth as silk at 1280x1024 wi' everything turned on! Everything xcept EAX of course :D
The moral? If any of ye experience similar problems after installation, try it again with EAX disabled ;) If the problem persists, visit the a/m forum.
BTW: Epic/Creative Labs are currently working on an EAX 'fix'. Future developments will be posted on this (http://www.ina-support.com/faq/unreal2_pc.asp) forum ;)

I've not seen a good review yet! In times past I'd of bought on a whim..these days I try to manage the spondoolies a little better (that is money to all non-squeaksters :D ) - hence my reluctance to buy this one, eye-candy is not so appealing as it once was - and for the record I disliked UT2003 too :D :D (though Unreal and UT are/were superb ;) )

I agree Squeaky. I regretted purchasing UT2003, although when Troopers comes out I won't regret it quite so much. ;) I won't be picking up U2. At least, not until it's like 20$ on the shelves at least...
