Hmm,
the only audio books I have heard are Terry Pratchetts, a friend had a copy of "Men-at-Arms" that I happened to hear some of.....
Not sure I would recommend it for going to sleep too - I was so busy laughing I doubt I could have slept even if anaesthatised..... :)

Never heard an audio book, any good ? Do you 'get into it' the same as if you were reading ?

Audio books are F.A.B Bozo  Me and my two lads used t' listen to a few of em on the rather long drive (5-6hrs) up t' Scotland for our Summer hol's
They don't encourage conversation tho' - e.g. (after we crossed the border) one of the lads would typically say "WOW Dad... I'd forgotten just how beautiful Scotland was!" (:p), but after I started playin' audio books on the way up, they lost track o' both time and distance, such that I had t' remind em when we entered Gods country :D
BTW: I can still find the odd one or two - typically in book shops, but if somebody can recommend a good online source, I'd be very much obliged to em ;)
