I've heard of about five of those,..
..and I listen to none of the above,.. although I did see Marilyn Manson in a club a few years back,.. 1993 or so,.. :)

As far as new stuff goes,.. I'm enjoying Jack Johnson,.. love Dave Mathews, and some of the "chicks" Jewel,. and Dido come to mind.

As far as all the Korn,.Butt Hole,. loud rock goes,.. I like the classics,

Deep Purple,
OZZY,.. (old Ozzy,. like Blizzard of Oz and Black Sabbath)
Motorhead,
Van Halen, (some of it)
Led Zeppelin,
Rush,

like i say, the classic hard rock.

My tastes vary alot more than that and would take up about 3 pages if I was to name anything. I don't like a particular group in particular other than the odd one here and there. I mostly go based upon a song by song basis. Can you actually tell me that you like each and every song that each of those groups has done?

This is the main reason I'm against buying traditional CD's, as CD's usually have only one or two songs that are any good (I have only ever bought one CD/Tape that I liked every song on it and that was about 10 years ago. This is one of the main reasons that file sharing is so popular. That and the fact that the price of CD's since their inception hasn't dropped at all even though media prices have dropped since then.

Sorry to rant about that, but your post brought it out as it mentioned liking whole groups.

13, infact :)

But, Yes i don't like every song produced by that certain group but what i do know is that i like atleast 90% of there music.

When it comes to the music produced by ''Pop groups'' I feel like bashing there heads in with something very sharp, there might be a odd few i like and may even listen to but on the whole...

I do fileshare my Music alot,

Oh btw, The music i listen too, Korn, Slipknot, rammstein, marlyn manson in my school they ''hate'' it, linkinpark etc maybe not, so don't even pull the ''Your listening to that as its the ''trend'' crap'' :)

And hell i admit it, some of the oldies i like :)

Was that "upstairs" as in "in the loft"?

I have boxes of bits of round black vinyl up there and nothing to play them on anymore.....when i have a free year I'll try to work out how to convert them to cds :)

Oh and i forgot

The Buggles - Age of Plastic....wish I could find that on CD! :)

You do know that anything you have on Vinyl I believe you can legally download in MP3 format as you do own the album. That is my interpretation anyways, and may not be 100% true, but as far as I know it is.

also Vinyl Players are still available in abundance. Her ein Canada all you have to do is go to your local Radio Shack and thy have them there. In the UK you might want to try Tandy Electronics (which is the same as Radio Shack here as they used to be the same company until Tandy was sold a couple years ago)

I can't believe there's so much good taste around here! (with some notable exeptions!) I love about 80% of the music mentioned above, I'm pierced and tattooed, and still hang out in indie clubs, going to see Mudvayne in 2 weeks. But my current favourite album is David Crosby's "I wish I could remember my name", it's as old as I am!
(about 35) before anyone asks, not quite time to hang up me combat boots yet...

....nother worthy bump...

Beethoven is my personal fav.. Mozart knew a thing or to as well.. and if you like the edgy grunge side if things.. look to the russians.. Shostakovich comes to mind. :)
