Hey this is my (going to be) monthly reading suggestion. A comic that I think is special , and would be good reading…..
Kia Asamiya Illuminates the Dark Knight

Now that American readers are getting a taste of manga master Kia Asamiya's artwork in Marvel Comics' Uncanny X-Men, they'll be able to see his interpretation of another comics legend when DC Comics presents the Batman: Child of Dreams HC (DEC020734, $24.95), which will collect the year-long serial from Kodansha's Magazine Z in a 352-page, English-language volume.
Long before he brought his vision to bear on American heroes, Asamiya won a huge global following with manga creations including Silent Mobius and Steam Detectives. This project -- a collaboration with acclaimed Road to Perdition writer Max Allan Collins -- should broaden that following among readers that enjoy well-crafted manga, mystery, or both.
Batman: Child of Dreams will send the Dark Knight on the trail of a drug that transforms its users into facsimiles of his deadliest enemies -- before it kills them. Pursuing every lead from Gotham City to Tokyo, Batman takes on the Joker, the Penguin, the Riddler, Two-Face, and Catwoman, all of whom -- real or not -- stand between him and the source of the lethal drug.
The hardcover is scheduled to ship on February 26.
