on the Jedi Council forums, a writer of a Star wars comic wrote this...Howdy,
I'm about to start work on the fifth year of Star Wars Tales and wanted to ask you, the faithful reader, what you'd like to see in upcoming Tales. I'm not looking for specific story ideas, so please keep your "Mara Jade vs. Threepio" requests to yourself... Rather I'm wondering if you like serious stories versus humorous ones. Do you want longer stories instead of a bunch of short stories? Theme issues or good olde fashioned free-for-alls? Do mainstream artists and writers strike your fancy or are you drawn more to their underground/indie brothers and sisters?
Let me know what would have YOU rushing to the store to buy Tales.
Thanks and I look forward to reading what you have to say!

Here was my reply...
Imagine this if you will
There is a person, alone in the dark. Meditating, to the animals around him it’s like he is not even there. It’s a tropical environment, so this guy is dressed simply. Think a light military type uniform. Then all of a sudden he gets up and starts running, running hard and fast, sticking to the dark and shadows as much as possible, avoiding the moonlight of the planet.
He stops suddenly, and is as unmoving as can be, then on his face there is a red glow. Then on a tree there is a Blue Glow. Our guy jumps real far above the ground, with great velocity, light saber in tow, looking down, he sees his fate. There below looking he dead in the eye is Vader.
Vader has worked hard to find this rogue Jedi, to extinguish his light. His expedition was now at an end. The Jedi comes downward with great skill accompanying him. A clash ensues, a long mêlée, as if Vader is enjoying himself. Then, suddenly, there is calm. With the battle over, Vader walks away, leaving a light saber and empty clothing….
One more, hidden, Jedi bites the dust...
This is the type of story I would like to see, simple serious and to the point…..
