heh.. happy turkey day.

went mobo shopping again, got the Leadtek NK7NCR18D-PRO. it's so far a sweet sweet board. installation and setup was flawless, and fast. best board install i have done in a while.

though it has only been running a couple days, and i have not done any o/c or serious benches/tweeks, i would not dissuade anyone from getting one if they were thinking about it.

also got a very very nice case. it is made by Super Flower (http://www.super-flower.com.tw/), purchased through mwave. i wish i had seen these before:

http://direct.mwave.com/mwave/doc2/A14333.html

rounded it all out with a 2400+ xp, Raedon 9700 pro, 2 512's of corsair extreme 3200, a black liteon burner, santa cruz and a new maxtor.

weird thing is, the case impresses me the most lol.

oh and the M700 logitek cordless opti rechargable mouse.

but the board so far is a dream. visibly faster than the epox kt400 system i got running too. at some point i'll do benchmarks etc to see whats up. but it sure makes my nascar2002 and battlefield 1942 a smooth experience.

btw, i finished 5th in my ORCA Series (http://www.orcaracing.net/news.asp?series=grand) for nascar 2002, i was toting the ninjamicros label as a sponsor. not too bad for a rookie against people that have raced for years. next year i'll do better.

happy holidays to you all.
