Calling all ATI/Linux users!

ATI promised it would work harder on its Linux support, since its lack of drivers was the key advantages Nvidia cards had over ATI's in the Linux world, and you Linux running/ATI owning guys 'n' gals should be :jump: fer joy now that ATI have finally introduced its unified driver for the open source operating system :yippee: (just don't ask me where t' get em from :D)


ATI Unified Linux Driver Version 2.4.3 supports Open GL 2.0 and works on RADEON 8500, RADEON 8500LE, ALL-IN-WONDER RADEON 8500DV, RADEON 9000 PRO, RADEON 9500 PRO, RADEON 9700 PRO, ALL-IN-WONDER 9700 PRO and FIRE GL family of workstation products :thumbsup:

yeah... I noticed Toby ;) but I posted the 'news' at lunchtime (:nahnah: :D), and I put it in here coz I woz/am providing advice on new ATI graphics card drivers... albeit they're for Linux ;)

Woulda suited either forum really... and it doesn't hurt t' have the same info in seperate, relevent forums anyways m8 :thumbsup:


BTW: where've ye been hidin' l8ely... I/we ain't 'seen' ye around fer a while :)

been busy busy busy, lots of work and a level stuff and the nagging gf!and as for the stats tables i havent had time to get g@h back as i formatted recently so havent even thought about crunching!
