I have a requirement to cluster two existing Win2K Advanced Servers. They are currently set up as stand-alone but, if possible, I would like to cluster them without re-installing. All of the software on each machine is the same and at the same level.
Any ideas anyone :)

I think you can go into control panel, add remove programs, windows setup, and install cluster options...

Step-by-Step Guide to Installing Cluster Service
Introduction
This step-by-step guide provides instructions for installing Cluster service on servers running the Windows® 2000 Advanced Server and Windows 2000 Datacenter Server operating systems. The guide describes the process of installing Cluster service on cluster nodes. It is not intended to explain how to install cluster applications. Rather, it guides you through the process of installing a typical, two-node cluster itself.

7, if your books are anything like the ones for NT 3.51, or NT4.0, you won't find any detail on clustering. I'd like to hear otherwise :-) Let me know what you find when they arrive!

I'm still waiting as of today. If I don't get them in the next couple of hours I'm going to call and complain. They shp via ExpressPost which is supposed to be a traceable service. However when you get the tracking # you can't trrace it on their website until it's actually delivered AND you check the delivery status after 6pm! It's freaking ridiculous the way it works.
The books I ordered is at the following URL: http://www.chapters.indigo.ca/item.asp?Catalog=Books&Section=Books&Cat=&Lang=en&Item=978073561771&mscssid=BCWTDGNMUR4N8JFXU3GBBV19DFCX8N92&WSID=1111A47B26F452DC41CDA5896E3DA673EA605822
Later on after I'm done those books I've got to order 4 more which focuses mostly on Active Directory and Win2K Advanced Server etc ...
I'm hoping it touches on clustering. Would be a shame if it didn't. :(
