Ok,
the title says it all - these are the 2 duallie boards I can get round here, which is better? I will be running (at first anyway) a single Athlon XP2200+, and then probably modding it and pairing it with another 2200+. Stability is a must, and it would be nice if it could run with unregsitered RAM (I have some PC2700). Overclocking would be nice, but not at the expense of stability or cheaper RAM.

Tiger won't do 2200+
Max on Tiger is 1900+ .... :(

That may be true of the S2460 but the MPX (S2466N-4M) will take up to the 2200+ according to the AMD website http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/ComputingSolutions/0,,30_288_1278_809^965^2340,00.html

Got an MSI K7D here, running with a single XP2200 fine. Overclocking options are there upto 150 FSB and it'll take normal DDR. If you don't believe me ask Vinovia, his is running with 2 XP1700 and 2 sticks of 256 MB DDR.

Believe me,
I'd love to buy a Master. But locally I can't get anything other than the A7M or the Tiger - and thats a major pain.... :(

I'm assuming your not prepared to mail order the MSI board ?

I also have the Tiger 2640 (well actually I've got two ;) ) and have to say it certainly qualifies as the most stable board I've had (until the heatsink fell off :( ). The Tiger can and will go pass the 1900 marker but there are long term power issues hence the recommended maximum of MP(XP)1900's.

The KD7 gets my vote as well, I love me old tigers they are good, but the KD7 is better IMO, It is less fussy than the asus or tyan.
