Hi folks
thanks for the info looks interesting - but unfortunately this mobo is not AMD approved
(should have said it has to be AMD approved) only use approved Mobos

have a look at the following reviews t' get ideas data:

Toms Hardware (http://www.tomshardware.com/mainboard/02q4/021007/index.html)
Tweaktown (http://www.tweaktown.com/document.php?dType=article&dId=391)
ExtremeTech (http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,3973,634876,00.asp) - a 'Features' table for these boards can be seen here (http://www17.tomshardware.com/mainboard/02q4/021007/kt400-21.html). This should help in your decision making

check the tom's hardware link, 9 mobos reviewed, i gonna take the asus one - cos i aint gonna buy for overclocking this time. the soyo and msi seems good for that though

ASUS for utmost stablity but not overclocking. Abit for overclocking and MSI for stablity and a little clocking.

been checking things out again, and it looks like only nforce2 will do, major problems with KT400 chipset (what a suprise)!

ECS K7S5A. Decent boards, Decent speed. Can overclock if you want to, but you don't have to. Has onboard Lan and sound, stable as anything.
