I get around 48c on my 1900+ with a Dragon Orb 3 which is actually a little high. (Full load) I haven't done anything to fix that heat prob ... YET.

48-52c depending on ambient temps. My 1600+ is running at 68c fine but it's a little clocked and the board reads 8-10c high.

If it gets into 70c you're in trouble. :(

Hi Tom
I found that they do/did run hotter.
Most of my XP1800'S run at around 50c under full load,
now most of these have a better hs/fan.

I have been seeing reports that new XP's being sold that are
running cooler than the early ones.
Something to check on.

Jed ;)

My expeirieces confirm what Dewill is saying.
It seems to be a mixed bag depending on what you get. I don't know if its the "stepping" (don't even know what that means) or what in the process that makes the dif.

I have gone through several XP1600s these ladst few weeks fro work PCs, cliets I've built for and a node or two. There is a rather large variation in temp under load even with the same MOBO and CPU fan type. For the most part, I find them to be much cooler than what others are reporting. I've never seen one get higher than 55c
