DNS Fix

Okay, we moved off the server using Cogent for the bandwidth provider. We're now on Neptune which is using a multihomed backbone, and - an upgraded Linux kernel. This should eliminate the network outages... particularly for our UK users.

Right now we're in forwarding mode. The old boards are closed and have been pointed to the new ones. This change is immediate for most people, but for others could take a couple hours.

Please be sure to report any problems.

Hi Chelle,

Might there be a way to access our email accounts via webmail today? I got a "Account suspended" message after I entered my login information... gave me quite a scare too. ;) THanks!!!!

Hi 4.6, here is the info you need:

To login to your email me, do the following: Copy the link below into a new browser window, and change the "YOUR NAME" to your email user id. YOU HAVE to use the entire email address as the login for this, not just the "username" IE: 4.6power@NINJAMICROS.COM, not just "4.6power" or whatever your email account is. (sorry, I forget ;))

http://YOURNAME:@www.ninjamicros.com:2095/YOURNAME+ninjamicros.com/

At this point, a pop up password box will come up, login, and then you will be able to change your password, as well as use that to check your email from anywhere. I am working on a webpage for this, but currently the only one that exists bypasses the initial front page, and therefore does not give you the opportunity to change your password.

Thanks for the info... but I am having the same problem as bubba. I use webmail all the time... today no worky though.

Just to make sure... I tried the link. I replaced the "YOURNAME" with my user name "jloverde". When the login box comes up I use "jloverde" as my login name and then enter my pass.... I get the message then. Hmm maybe the DNS is to blame, if the site is working for me then I would assume email is ok too, but ahh well who knows. Thanks for the suggestions M8 ;)

LOL, one would think that is the case 4.6, but in my case I could get email just fine, but I could not access the site! I will take a look tonight, and see what I can find out about. Could just be a glitch with the transfer, or the DNS problems. You're in Hoboken? what ISP are you using?

Webmail is still down... working fine from outlook, but not from an explorer window. Any ideas?

Unfortunately, this propagation is taking longer for some people than normal. I myself have been having issues with the site until this afternoon when they finally seem to have cleared up. Give it till tomorrow bud, and it you are still having problems, I will look into it further.
