Just laid my hands on the awesome "moon safari" CD by Air (some french band - but the lyrics, where there are any are english)
Very mellow, light, ambient stuff (which is not normally my taste) but i defy anyone not to like it :)
"Ce Matin La" and "La Femme D'Argent" are just dreamy.... check the samples

Well.......................
Sounding somewhere between a Buck Rogers episode, a cheap porn flick, and a corny seventies TV movie and good old Mall/Lift musac I gotta say I hated that :D
no really..I hated it.
Thanks G* :p

ROTFL,
well there is no accounting for taste, and that goes as much for me as for anyone else :) I'm not a huge ambient music fan, but this album really tripped my trigger, so....
Saying that, some of it does sound like really good lift music, now you mention it... :D
at least your honest with your opinion. BTW Buck Rogers was class, especially that Erin Grey lass :) mnnnn :D

LOL @ Rids ..you have an excellent point :p
I agree with the corny 70's movie....(can't comment on the "cheap porn flick"..as we all know angel's don't view that sort of thing..:halo: )
I can soooo see a group of people in bell bottoms...polyester shirts with huge pointy collars sitting around passing a bong :p
That's it...70's stoner music.... but then I wouldn't know anything about that either

OK, OK, I wasn't completely "sober" before I listened to it....
No Bell botoms, or polyester, but the huge collared shirts are very in around London right now, and I was a big fan of Pink Floyd et al whilst *ahem* "Studying" at Uni.....

Umm, not sure. Sounds from the Thievery Hi-Fi is probably a good place to start.
Then, of course, there's also Kruder & Dorfmeister, St Germain and the Gotan Project, if you're after something with a little more Latin flair.
Me. Music. We're joined at the kneecap.
