The secretive Audi A4 coupe is going to be a stunner when it goes on sale in 2004. This coupe has design elements of the Audi TT and will compete with the BMW 3-series coupe and the Mercedes CLK.
The overall design of this A4 niche model is typical coupe but Audi is still deciding if this car will have the conventional two-door design.
Apparently the Ingolstadt car manufacturer is considering designing the car with two rear doors. These rear doors will be similar to that of the Mercedes CLE.

The suggested rear doors for the A4 coupe will be so-called suicide or barn-style doors with the hinges at the rear end. This allows better access than conventional two-door coupes. The doors will also feature frameless windows.
The engine range will be similar to that of the new Audi Cabriolet and will therefore include a 2.4 V6 and a brand-new 3-litre unit. The 3-litre engine will produce an amazing 164kW.
There's also the possibility of 1.8-litre turbocharged engine as well as a new 2.5-litre diesel engine, which produces 133kW.
Both manual transmission as well as Audi's CVT Multitronic clutchless gearshift, which becomes automatic with a slight push to the side, will probably be available for the A4 coupe.
