Eeeek!
I obviously made an impression that evening (flushed, red)
What did Shakespeare say..?

To err is human, but to forgive is divine...
methinks!!

feisty? I don't think that word is known over the Atlantic, but I might well be wrong, no doubt imported by the Scots after the enclosures forced the emigration...

Rids
7th July 2002, 02:57 AM
Embarassed?
uh huh

Well I'm sure Chelle will forgive you as long as you keep her placed north of the border :D

 Well, I don't hold grudges :D If I recall was just a little taunting and subsequent rebuttal, my geographic origin was promptly established and that was the end of it

:rofl::rofl::rofl:

A few of the DF Knights and some retired Genomers went back to give a hand to the die-hards so that they can slowly retake 5th position from Team Peecard after a bit of taunting (nobody from around there around here is there? - wouldn't want them to catch on... )

The big producers are still on DF!

(BTW: The SETI team always was in charge, but note that 2 of the 6 board moderators are full HP team members).

Fun is where you find it - more fun is where you make it!

Have fun here Ian - see ya if/when you come back.
Ni!

Quite right GBSY - you definitely won't find any SETI or Genome supporters on 3DHQ  :D

At least they know what proper football is here...

BTW - When you promise that you'll be on your best behaviour, do they know what your best behaviour actually is? ;)

Good Luck!

GOLDENBALLSAINT
8th July 2002, 12:14 AM
Ni! To one and all..
I shall retire now to my chaise-lounge....
pick up a parable ridden novel of the 20'th century..and read it yet again...if only in order to see something I did not detect before...
I recommend:
Jean Paul Sartre: 'Nausea' - An existentialist novel to beat Kerouac, easily
Malcolm Lowery: 'Under The Volacano' - A Dipsomaniac masterpiece from an English Author living in a Canadian Cabin...
Patrick Hamilton...A 'tween the wars writer ....'Hangover Square' - A classic of English literati in the 30's...His 'Gorse Trilogy' is pretty damn good as well!
Ooops ..It's past my bed time!
Ciao
Buone Notte To One and All..
