Just a little post to let all you Slot A overclockers know that I have resigned my position as moderator. Its been a pleasure helping you Ninja's achieve higher clock speeds but with the recent going's on with the Admin/Mods, I have decided to jack it in. I wish I could turn the clock back and make the board what it used to be 18 months ago or so but I can't. I am not the only mod who is sick of what is going on and others are also quitting. Its not the only reason, I have recently changed jobs and I feel I can't give as much time to the board as I would have liked.
I will still be showing my face everynow and then to give some advice and my Slot website is still on the go if needed.

Hmmmmm, well as none of the Admins has done so it falls upon an ex admin to thank you for all the work you have done on behalf of these forums and its members. in the very best tradition on NinjaMicros you have regularly "gone the extra mile" in your efforts to help others. You can feel very proud of the job you have done fore these forums. :)

LolBoy, thanks for all the tips and tricks you taught me about overclocking my Slot A 750...it didn' break the speed records but I Was able to pull 916 out of it just by tweaking it, even if my GFD did burn out. Thanks for the help and good luck in your endeavors.

Hi Lolboy,
Both you and Berks were my mentors a few years back, when we played at Slot A and Dan's GFD.
I wonder why the current admins have not said bye also, but they didn't for me also, we must be bad boys.
Take care and will see you around. It was a pleasure threading with you in the past.
Take care.......

i have seen information going both ways on the KA7-100 t-bird thing. some people have made it work. i'll try updating the bios and messing with the CPU pull up strength (what ever that is) to the settings i found on aussie-overclockers. i am going to try it anyway. wish me luck. thanks for the warning. if it dosent work i can alway OC the piss out of my "classic 600" i got a vos32, some thermal-adhesive and a GDF device as well as a fan-bus running 3 80mm and one 60mm case fans.
i hold you personally responsible for starting be down the dark path to over-clocking-hell!
cheers.

Good luck Lolboy, seems all the people who added 200mhz to my old athie 700 all that time ago have just about moved on. :(
I hope you can linger on and will always consider this place your home should you feel inclined to come back to us. :)
best wishes

Jesus, another one?? I've been reading resignations left and right from mods I've been reading posts from for going on 2 years now. Sure, I don't post much, but this is one of my favorite sites and boards. So, does SOMEONE want to tell me what the hell is going on that all of these great people are resigning and leaving? These are the people who've MADE NM what it is, for God's sake!!!

I don't usually stop by Slot-A as I missed out on the glorious "candy-bar" CPU and skipped straight from a socket PI to Socket A. (Boy was that ever a performance increase! ) So I just noticed this thread. Thanks for modding, Lolboy. :) Sorry you feel that way about the forums, but there are a lot of us who feel exactly the opposite. :) Good luck with the new job!
