Bubba is coming to WV this summer:yippee: :yippee: So we're planning a party! Heck, it may just be the two of us, but we've known eachother for years and I'm tickled to pieces to get to have the chance to meet my Saturday/Sunday morning wake up caller!!! :jump:
If anyone is close (or not so close) and wants to make a day trip (or stay a week LOL) and get together....We'll be glad to share the details. :) Rebecca wants to have a BBQ here on the farm....(LOL Pick out your own beef or chicken) We'll just have to see about that!;)

One thing I forgot to mention....If Rebecca comes the first 1/2 of September, I won't be available....you'll just have to carry on without me. I'll leave the house unlocked :D
Although....Rebecca did have an exclent point....While I've been forbidden to bring a computer with me on vacation ....I don't recall any rules being set forth about actual people...then again...forbidden may be too strong of a word....I was actually told I could go by myself.... I cant see any way to make it from here in less than 5 hours.. So from cleveland it should be more like 8...
Of course that is by car.. Teleportation is a hell of a lot faster..
NickBrownsFan
28th May 2002, 04:52 AM
Guess that all depends on where in WV but to get to the border I beleive he is close to the correct time. Have not made the run myself ever guess a few practice runs are in order now. Just have to get some roadpops and a laptop. You up for it JBF?

hehe well I made it from Houston Texas to Cleveland in under 24 just depends on what your driving. ;) Amazingly From NY,NY to here is about 8 or 9hrs. Go figure guess PA is just to darn BIG! I rode to Philly in a van and that took about 8 hours too but of course I was not driving. ;)
Makatiel
28th May 2002, 05:25 AM
Hmmmm. How long do you think it would take you to go from Cleveland to Dayton? I figure it would be about 3 hours..
NickBrownsFan
28th May 2002, 05:42 AM
I have not made the run there myself but I have been told it is about a 3hr cruise or so. (where is Mary Ann?)
Makatiel
28th May 2002, 06:00 AM
Figure I am about 5 hours from Charleston WV and 3 hours from Cleveland.. I am not sure if Charleston is a good reference point or not but that is what I was using to get my times..
NickBrownsFan
28th May 2002, 06:08 AM
Was editting the above post with this when you replied so moved it down :D
The thing to remember is that Dayton is way west and south from here by the indiana boarder. PA is only about 1 hour away East and WV is due south right off I-77 so like Charleston is about 4 hours away.
So you would have to go farther east to get there while we just have to go south. But to get to Dayton we have to go south and then west out of what columbus?
Makatiel
28th May 2002, 06:16 AM
Ahhh.. That is true.. I forgot that you were all the way east.. Hmm.. I need to go back to New England where you can cross 3 states in 2 1/2 hours.. LOL
NickBrownsFan
28th May 2002, 06:27 AM
 Yea if it were not for this big ol lake we could be in Canada in no time flat too. Its faster to boat over there. They made the states much bigger the farther out you go from the Atlantic it seems. ;) From here to Cincinnati is a major hike from almost the farthest point NE to the farthest point SW of the state. I can get to North Carolina faster I think. :D
