Well, unfortunately this is not a good post. You all have not seen me around much and the reasoning for this is two fold.

1. I have been spending a lot of time over on ExtremeOverclocking.Com/OverclockersForum.Com
That is really my home board and since I am one of the main mods over there I really need to spend the majority of my time there.

2. I am not very happy about this whole crazy thing that is going on. I think it was wrong the way it was done and I am very disapointed in the outcome. Many Many Many people have left the team because this was handled so badly and it makes me wonder if this whole thing dosent stem from something "funny" that was going on between the admins/mods etc. that the rest of us peons did not know about.

I am continuing to have both computers crunching DF and right now and they are crunching for 3dHQ. I do not know what my intentions are at the moment as far as posting on this board but I will continue crunching for the time being.

G`Night all.. I really wish the management would have thought about what this would do to the team much better before they did it. This does not feel like home nor will it ever be home.

Again, :confused: The site went up for sale, the site was purchased, and 2 sites became one. Nothing "funny" about that, Mak. It happens all the time.

I'm really sorry it doesn't bode well with you, Mak. We really are the same bunch of folks. I hope to see you 'round more often.

Having been "AWOL" when the switch took place, it took me a while to figure out what I should do.

I decided that, whatever might have happened to the servers/forum ownership etc. the Team is what really matters, and the members of the Team.

I'm saddened that people felt it necessary to leave, and I wish them all well, but I intend to stay, and I hope that you will reconsider, and stay too.

The posts are just as good as before, Rids is just as handsome, the Angels are still as beautiful, and Meady is still getting drunk most nights....

I think Mak is still a little shell-shocked from the merger of another site that he was on, which landed him at 3DHQ in the first place. Maybe in time he'll see things differently where we're concerned.

Truth is some seem to have left because they felt the team weren't being serious enough others have gone off to play mind games for a while with KWSN/Free DC.

I can't say I was totally happy that the site moved, and I have been saddened by the departure of Data, Terminator, and now Makatiel. On the other hand I was origenally pointed to the 3DHQ team by Picardigans, so I suppose what goes around comes around.

I may be wrong here, but didn't Data leave Picard to join 3DHQ in the first place? If so, I can understand why he is not best happy at the sites merging..... :(

I suppose its a decision everyone has to make, but I'm too comfortable here to move right now.... :)

I guess there's a turnover of members with any team, and we're no exception. We've had members come and go, for various reasons even before the move, as does other teams. That's why there's different teams, to suit the needs of different people. Or else we'd all be on one big ole team and I wouldn't be able to keep up on the forum, then I'd have to quit my day job, and things would just go down hill from there :D

Well, it's nice to see dirty laundry being thrown around..

My main reason for being displeased is that I was on a board that was just 3dHQ. Now if I view new posts I have to view new posts for the entire board, not just the 3dHQ forum. We have gone from having out own little corner of the web to having out own little corner of someone elses board.

I am sure I will get over it, and I will continue posting, but I don't know if it will ever be to the extent of my past exploits.

Oh, and for the record, I got bitch-slapped in a public forum for posting too much. I thought I had let it go and had never fully explained my reasons for leaving TGC on 3dHQ because I didn't think it was something I had to go telling everyone on the web about.

Well, since you want to bring up the past, I am still pissed over that and though 3dhq's move has annoyed me, I will get over it. What you did caused me to never ever go back to TGC. I could go further into it but it is morning and I really dont feel like getting all pissed before I go to work..

Well, I plan on staying, and I plan on posting, but there are just things that I will speak my mind about.

Some people may not like some of my opinions about the whole thing but if I am to stay then I am going to say the way I feel. If ya dont like it then, well, I wont be mean and say what I was going to say but you get the picture.. ;)

In all honesty though my posting output wont be nearly what it was BECAUSE of all the work I have to do on OCF. I just will not be able to do the whole 4 hours post war anymore because I could be spending that 4 hours catching up on one of the 4 reviews I am currently behind on.
