Was there a rumour not too long ago about a big budget Dr Who movie??

I know it would probably be rubbish without the cheap cardboard and rubber suits...and of course without the REAL Doctor .. TOM BAKER :)

I don't know about Dr Who, but weren't they going to do a follow on from Blakes 7? I'm not sure who or what it was going to be based around, but hey.....

And no, it wouldn't have space ships made out of fairy liquid bottles...... :)

they made the dr who didn't they, had that mcgann? (cant remember his name properly) bloke as the doctor was o.k but a bit dissapointing budget wasn't that big. I used to be a huge dr who fan:)

They were supposed to be doing a hitch hikers guide film as well as I recall.
